What's the reccomended level for the final mission?
I'm asking because I went to the final mission at level 62, got absolutely boulched by a black saurian and had to go to my last checkpoint.

I only started playing the game about 2 weeks ago and I'm having a lot of fun, but I can't seem to make it through the final mission. Is there a reccommended level or am I just bad at the game?

In case you need to know: I'm a fighter, I have a strider (main pawn), mage and warrior in my party and they're all either my level or a few levels above me.

AND PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING! I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF THERE'S A RECOMENDED LEVEL!

The top tier gear of the final DLC has a minimum requirement of 52 or 53. So basing it off that, it isn’t a level issue. You’re in the last Stage which is like 7 I think of the main game. There’s a vendor at the Greatwall Encampment (the camp outside) that will sell gear that should make things easier for you, if you don’t already have them. You can drop it down to easy mode, also. Rewards don’t change between normal and easy as far as I know.

If it helps, some really useful spells for CC that a strider has is ensnare/implicate (same skill, one is upgraded version) and cutting wind is good for both damage and cc.

Pressing F1 during a fight will tell the pawn to attack, not sure if that applies to the pioneer inclination which causes it to look around the map and search for items and junk.

Might be far too late for the response but I hope it helps.
