Win 11 DDDA don't start
Hello,

i have a little problem, i was installed Win 11 and want to play DDDA and after the initial configuration it stop.

i reinstall all the game after that and it's the same, don't work...

Please someone can help me :)

j'ai un petit probleme. J'ai installé Win 11 et j'ai lancé DDDA et il ne va pas plus loin que l'initialisation. j'ai réinstallé le jeu pour essayer, et pareil, le jeu ne fonctionne pas.

quelqu'un aurait il la solution s'il vous plait? :D

Check in the Windows event viewer. There must be some record of the application abruptly stopping.

Eventually you could try some default measures for similar issues. Eg set Vsync to OFF in game's confing.ini.

Windows 11 is new and probably not updated yet in the terms of the older games installing vcredist files correctly. Go to the Microsoft site and search for and up to date version if they have done that yet.

I'm running Windows 11 alright. You had the game running in 2020 is this the same computer/setup? Is there a chance that you've modified the game files?

I was having an issue a few days ago where even after uninstalling through steam the modded files remained and caused the same issue upon reinstall. It was an ENB and dx3d9 hook I believe. The best option is to manually delete the whole folder. I also manually installed the DX version that came with the game. I've run into issues with some games in the past where very specific libraries are needed from the included DX version. No special permissions or anything for security but I am running this outside of the protected Program Files folders.
