everything is kinda fine.
sounds like you play on normal, so you should be okay with what you got. and you have atleast one set of gear dragonforged
if you play one hard you should get into dragon forging if you consider switching armor.
the stat difference from 3 star to dragon forged is already big.
Do you think my level and gear is sufficient to complete Bitterblack Island to get that gear in the game? I mean I'm trying to progress to a point where I can take on that carrion undead dragon which spawns after you take the void key in an area with corrupted bandits.
For Mystic Knights would Immortal set essentially be the best armor? I got the helm I mean from a Bitterblack Island quest and it seems better than even my dragonforged meloirean helmet.
Also yes, I play on normal mode.
i think if you are like level 50 to 75 you can probally easily beat it.
rusted weapons help alot. (not alot of damage but slow it down alot) so either give a rusted weapon to a pawn or switch yourself.
but yes its doable. in theory you could also just rush past.
btw if you fight it, right before winning switch all gear that is dragonforged to other gear, cause the cursed dragon has a big chance to dragonforge.
and 99% of the time bbi gear is the best you can get.
Looks, availability, yes. But by the numbers the best armor set for red Vocations is Hellfire set. Which you will have a hard time obtaining before clearing the isle in the first place as Lv.3 Armor is both very rare at this point and the reliable source of it is located at the other end of the isle.
Talking about Meloiread set. Personally I always go with this kit as MK's work attire

Now, practically speaking it's good to go first with what you can rarefy rather than with your favoirite setup. But if you are so into Wakestones you won't have issues with "bad stats" I suppose.
What do you mean stuck? The carrion beast spawns AFTER you have picked up the key.
Unless you have encountered a random spawn, eg at Midnight Helix. Just leave the area and reenter and the necrophage will be gone.
As for the the right level to deal with a cursed dragon. Forget about levels, think in terms of equipment, notably weapons - sufficient for dishing out damage able to harm your opponents. With the right damage even level 29 (15 with some Vocations) is enough.
I'd say DF Dogma sword and Faith shield are fine as long as you use them right. Also, forget about the distinction "holy weapon for undead" etc. Get the best stats and holy enchantments.
BTW What's Fellham?
falling HAM
dropped bacon
Can't carry alot of curatives which might be needed for daimon phrase 2, plus my main pawn might use them up too quickly in the fight if I just give them it?
Torso is now just immortal and cloak being blasphemer's cloak. I do have a silver rarefied Devilsbane.
Or get greaves with the same effect.
