Cassardis Door causes crashing.

Doesn't happen anywhere else. Only every other time I use the Cassardis main gate.
Not even in the Chamber of Lament when the Ur-dragon does the charge attack on top of my head. Not even that causes the game to stutter but going through a gate crashes the game.
What's up with this?

Had the same happen to me too once, I had just used a Ferrystone.

Check the integrity of your game files through Steam; that usually indicates that you're missing that location's file(s) and/or corruption thereof.

The game seems to have a common crash issue that can creep up on you without notice during transitions.

I have noticed locking my framerate to 30 FPS has reduced this greatly, though playing in 60+ FPS would be more ideal if I had a better PC setup.

Sometimes entering the Garden of Ignominy from the first harbor area causes my game to be stuck in the loading screen. The only solution I have found is to Alt+F4 and load the game again. Strangely the autosave still works and when I load the game I'm already inside, which makes me think it's the Bitterblack Harbor that is actually causing the issue. It's not even a crash, it just stays on the loading screen forever.

Try to disable the pawn chatter. Solved the issue for me.

My God.
I moved out, bought a house, got married AND had a kid YEARS AGO in this timeskip haha.

Fair enough, but I was looking for a solution lately, found this thread that was more or less what I was getting, thought I'd share a possible fix. You know, for the descendants. :P
