Problems/Solutions
The game wont start/Crashes directly on launch
-It is 90% chance that your Anti-virus software is too aggressive.
Try turning the Anti-virus off (or white list the game).
Try open the .exe directly from the game's folder. (see image)

Try right-click the .exe and run as Admin.

If you get a crash message like "Game.exe stopped working", then try use the event viewer to capture the error.

Changed video settings, and the game just crashes/is a blank screen
Remove the GameSettingsPC file in
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Lootfest

"Steam Digital Rights Management failure"
-Make sure you are online and got Steam running when starting the game.
-If you still get the error, try wait for 10minutes and restart steam and start the game again.

Game crashes about every 5min without any proper error message
-Could be that the game runs out of memory, try reducing the "menu>options>chunk radius" a bit and try again.

Can jump glitch through roofs, and fall down 1x1 holes
-Working on it

Monsters spawn or end up inside walls
-Working on it

How does the Editors work!? They are confusing.
-The editors are so far just a bonus for Early Access users, I will add some help with button layout, but not much more than that.

the current level 1 area's castle & boss room have no music to speak of.

and when you enter the level 1 boss room, after obtaining the purple gate key, you press Enter to open the gate, which SHOULD spawn you inside the boss room afterwards. instead it spawns you ontop of the outter wall of the boss room, which you can then climb down from into the boss room itself. thankfully there are invisible walls on the opposite side of the wall, so you may not escape.


if your mouse is on the outside of the game, and the game is NOT paused or Shift + Tabbed, the world spins as if you have the mouse on the far side of the screen, rotating the world around the charecter. this can be fixed my clicking back into the game.


music now changes to other scores of music when the current song finishes. im not sure if this is how the music SHOULD act, but it sometimes plays music that in no way feels like it should be playing, such as badass boss music plays, area traveling music etc


when exiting the tutorial area, the 'load period' screen is not completly blacked out, and the player can witness the area actually loading in

the 'children' of the randomly generated hub area, are set to follow the player somewhat. if the player puts them in a direct walking line towards a weapon pedastel, and then has the children continue to follow the player, the children will then drag the pedastels with them. i assume this also applies to the adult's, but it does NOT apply to the chick.

the world now loads in small parts, when you walk to and from a certain distance, part of the area dissaperes with it, not like what it did once before

The loading blackout is transparent to make the game easier to debug, will hide it later. Villagers move items to you, because they like you, just trying to help :)

when you enter one of the hub's portals, and you move a far enough distance from your first respawn (WITHOUT OPENENING A GATE) and then die, the load time takes longer (3-5 seconds) than usual

if you kill yourself by running into a creature during this longer loading time, it will crash the game

this is however, quite hard to accomplish,as you must manuever your charecter around a still loading world, one filled with walls that havent popped in yet, or flooring in a matter of seconds, and also be killed by an allready loaded in creature. this would not have happened naturally if i hadnt purposfully tried to see if i could crash the game by trying to do so.

i remained in one area for around 15 minutes, and the enitre place spawned more than 100 creatures NATURALLY from nests over the course of these 15 minutes.

for the full story:

i decided once Fabian went offline that i would make a castle (of sorts) from pre-existing buildings provided in the builder. i flattened out an entire area, remove trees, nests, and non flat surfaces either by killing them or deleting them with the builder.

as i built the castle out of four exisitng building pieces, new nests & trees started to respawn in the area

by the time i finished building & started to 'paint' the castle more than 5 nests & 3 tree respawned, and over 50+ creatures had swarmed my castle. they were not spawned by me, they were naturally spawned by the nests themselves

by the time i finished painting, over 10 nests had spawned, and over 100 creatures were forming a horde in the area, they somehow managed to get me, despite that i was on a 6 high block wall, and i died.

i soon realised that ONLY the area where i built my castle, and spent 15 minutes in, had massive amounts of nests & creatures. the other areas were still normal, with 1-2 nests, and less than 10 creatures within it.

Editing the terrain regenerates the area, which adds more monster spawn points.

if you leave the game in Editor mode (TAB) for more than 5 minutes, and then exit out back to player mode, the depth of field gains this 'fish-eye' like view, where everything to the direct right or left that your looking at appears closer, but whatever your look at directly appears far away.

I was fighting the boss with the shield and long blue sword (I think level 8?) and my game randomly crashed! http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=695763671

Also, any idea how to defeat that boss? I tried my special attack, attacking from behind, and timing my attacks, but nothing worked! I was using the axe weapon.

i have managed to kill the boss on level if you hit it from the back try jumping on its head first so it wil be stunned for a little whille

After playing again, I've noticed there is no longer a level 10. It goes... 8, 9, 11, 12... ect. Also, after beating the challenge level, the level after it is still locked. Is it supposed to still be locked or maybe do I have to do something else? (the blue portal level on the far right)

I've found another bug: on level 8 where there are 2 wolves and 1 wolf-jockey, you can jump on a wolf's head to stun them and when you use a card, it crashes because there isn't a wolf card
