DLC's and Kaede's Story Outline (spoilers/"Fanfic")
Is this going to have DLC's? So far no voice acting even though it said there would be in the trailer and there is a voice volume but no bar. Also I asked for at least one additional main character and in extras, character bios featuring their full body for each character (Hideaki, Chinatsu, Megumi, Yui, Ryo, Shiro, and Kaede).

DLC main character

Kaede: a 14-year old lovable, polite, and optimistic blonde cowboy wanabee freshman student, his introduction with Hideaki is "My name's Kojima. Kaede Kojima." He has a secret interest in Megumi but doesn't want to express it until Megumi shows interest in him. Just like the other main characters, Kaede does have a dark secret. Kaede has an after story that has three possible endings: one where Kaede dies, one where Hideaki dies, and one where both live.

School Trip Scenario: Kaede arrives with his uncle Takuto. Hideaki sits next to Kaede, who is wearing his cowboy hat (image of Hideaki and Kaede sitting together. Everyone, including Chinatsu, goes on the bus and arrives at the destination. As soon as they get off, Kaede asks everyone to gather together for a picture (image of all major characters together from left to right: Chinatsu, Megumi, Hideaki, Kaede, Ryo, Shiro, and Yui), which will be taken by Takuto; this will be the true harem scene.) After they return, this is the last time Hideaki sees Chinatsu.

His after story/The Kaede Path: Hideaki and Kaede begin to do cowboy stuff together and become fast friends. At one point during the Summer, Hideaki and Kaede took a flight to Texas for the Wild West Festival that lasted a few days, with Kaede's uncle Takuto paying for the flight and the hotel they stayed at. At one point, during the Festival, Kaede went behind a horse but Hideaki saved his life at the last second by pulling him away before the horse kicked behind. (Kaede doesn't appear in other character storylines because it is assumed he died from that horse kick while he goes to Texas without Hideaki) After the festival ended, Kaede, Hideaki, and Takuto took the flight back to Okutama, Japan. Hideaki had missed his other friends and expected to meet them. Of course, Megumi, Yui, and Ryo were both waiting for them but Chinatsu and Shiro weren't there.

When they returned for school they got Mr. Kenatsu as the teacher, who always hit on girls. Kaede was offended by it and one time in the student council room, got into a fistfight with him for hitting on Megumi ("You want to hit on someone, then try hitting on me, you b*****d!"). Upon hearing that sentence, the teacher struck first, but Kaede retaliated with his own punch. Kaede had hand-to-hand experience but the teacher slowly gained the upper hand in the struggle. (Image of Mr. Kenatsu pinning Kaede to the table as they are struggling. Kaede was facing towards the teacher, resisting his strength.) Megumi was inside the council room watching the fight, while Hideaki watched it from outside along with a few other students. [Kaede: "Get him off me d****t!" Karasu Kenatsu: "Shut up you son of a b****!"] Eventually, Mr. Kenatsu smashed Kaede's head on the table twice and left the school, assuming Kaede was dead. Megumi was horrified by the scene and students arrived to find a bloody body on the table. The nurse came and checked for pulse and to many students' relief, confirmed Kaede is still alive, just barely. (Image of Kaede lying faceside on the table with a pool of blood.) [Student 1: "Oh my god! There's a body on the table!" Student 2: "Another one?! Quick! Get a nurse!" Nurse: "Hmm, this one's still alive. Unconscious, but alive. Just barely."] However he was unconscious and had to be taken to the hospital immediately. Megumi and Hideaki both watched over Kaede fighting to regain consciousness while on life support. Soon, the doctors tell Megumi and Hideaki that Kaede will be fine and has suffered no permanent damage; he was extremely lucky. Even so, the teacher was suspended for 7 days for his act of violence. Six days later, Kaede recovers and is put off life support but was told by the visiting school nurse not to return to school for a bit, it'd be best not to risk the teacher actually killing him. Normally he'd be expelled for hitting a teacher but with that instance of the teacher attacking first for an inappropriate reason, the school is considering firing Karasu Kenatsu instead of allowing him to return from his suspension. Kaede tells Hideaki and Megumi that this wasn't his first brush with death but it was his closest. After being relieved to see Kaede recover, both return to school and Megumi was able to hold her own against the teacher.

That night, Megumi invited Kaede to sleep over at her house while Hideaki stayed home. At that night, Hideaki received a call from Kaede saying that Mr. Kenatsu has arrived at the house and he has a bad feeling about this and asks him to come quickly. Soon enough, to Kaede's fears, Mr. Kenatsu attacked and began to sexually assault Megumi. Kaede however snuck around him and found a weapon to use on him. Hideaki was rushing to the house opens the door and enter the room to find Megumi and Karasu Kenatsu and it wasn't even a struggle, the teacher had the upper hand as he begins to expose her. (Image of Mr. Kenatsu holding Megumi down with Kaede sneaking behind him holding a knife) Before Karasu can kill her, Kaede stabs him and knocks him down. Kaede then pins him down with the knife close to his throat and has Hideaki call the police while Megumi recovers. "It takes more than that to kill me. Megumi might not be able to handle the burden of a killer, but I can! And I will if you try to resist!" The teacher was suprised to find that Kaede was still alive, he thought he shared the same fate as his previous victim. Police then arrive and take Karasu Kenatsu into custody and Megumi, Hideaki, and Kaede for questioning. Kaede reveals he is not one to murder people and was pleased that he wasn't blinded by rage, he was already scarred by a scene of death but doesn't elaborate on it. "That stuff I said about being a killer, I was actually bluffing. I don't want to kill people. I've had my share of death, both witnessing and brushing with."

All are taken into the trial for Mr. Karasu Kenatsu on charges of sexual assault and two counts of attempted murder. He has already bribed the jury and walked free before for murder once and so he tries to do so again. This time, however, his attempt to bribe has failed, he was found guilty; his educational license was revoked, and he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Megumi could not feel greater satisfaction from anything except seeing Mr. Kenatsu humiliated in the courtroom, even if it was not the justice she wished for. Afterwards, as they return to school, Megumi no longer became infatuated with Hideaki; she now was more in love with Kaede after his act of heroism, and Kaede happily returned her love; he always had a secret crush on her. (Image of Megumi's lower portion of school uniform while standing outside, lower part of shirt, her skirt, legs, white socks, and brown shoes) Hideaki understood her feelings and was happy that she would be happy with Kaede. Soon, he would find himself in the middle of their romance, which would get stronger as time goes on. And after that scenario, Kaede became more optimistic with his life than ever before.

Then one day a new teacher, Mr. Jin Nagama, who had replaced Mr. Karasu Kenatsu, changes Kaede suddenly. The teacher was somewhat of a jerk and was often rude and abusive, particularly towards Kaede and Megumi. Soon Kaede's life gone for a worse, becoming depressed and solitary, wanting to be left alone, even away from Megumi. One day, Kaede got into an argument with Jin. Hideaki eavesdropped and spied on the argument between Mr. Nagama and Kaede. The confrontation reached its climax when Kaede called Jin a "worthless animal." Upon hearing that word, Mr. Nagama's mood suddenly changed from reasoning into violent hostility and he furiously punches Kaede in the face twice and threated to take and destroy his cowboy hat as the first thing if he ever calls him an animal again (the teacher was stronger the Karasu Kenatsu). He also gave him a 3 day suspension for insulting him and threatened to even have him expelled or worse. Then ended the confrontation with the phrase, "Now get lost or lose teeth!" Kaede then fled the room and the school in tears. Hideaki follows him, hoping that Mr. Namaga didn't notice him eavesdropping on the conversation. Hideaki also texted Megumi to come with him to comfort Kaede.

Soon Hideaki and Megumi visit Kaede's house and finds out what the fuss was about. Kaede recognized his face on that fateful night one year ago, not as Jin Nagama. He and his older brother Jin Kojima, the person he always looked up to when he was in trouble, were walking together when they were attacked and mugged by a man. The man demands to hand them all of their money; Jin recently took out plenty of money from the bank to buy medicine to help the medical cancer treatment of his friend Shinzo Suguri. Jin and Kaede were powerless against that man and Kaede tells him just to give him the money. When Jin hesitates for a second, the man proceeds to pummel Jin to the ground and take his wallet full of money then begins to choke him. (Image of the man pinning Jin down on the ground with a gun in his holster) Kaede begs him to let him go and the man replies, "Get lost or lose teeth!" Jin briefly recovers and takes off his mask and reveals his face to Kaede and himself. The man recovers and begins to overwhelm Jin, who promptly pleads, "Do something! Don't just stand there! KILL THIS B******!" The man then takes out his gun and shoots Jin in the neck; he grasps it, chokes in his blood and the venom that was later found out, and dies. (A gunshot is heard then blood spatters on the screen with a choking sound heard afterwards, "And then, it happened. That b****** took out his gun and put a bullet into Jin's neck. I watched in horror as he choked slowly with blood coming out of his juglar. Then mercifully, death took him.") A nearby policeman in his cruiser hears the gunshot and turns on his sirens. Kaede was shocked and calls him, "Murderer! Monster! Animal!". The man turns on Kaede and aims at him but his gun jams and he hits Kaede's face hard with it, stunning him. Police soon arrive close and the man says, "You're wanted dead cowboy." before disappearing, evading the authorities.

Kaede mourns the death of his brother and would never forget that face and begins to feel useless and helpless. (Image of Kaede kneeling by his brother's body, with a pool of blood coming from his neck) It was a horrible way for Jin to die, to have bullet that has been illegally modified with a poison tip enter his neck and hit his spinal cord, as was found out during his autopsy. ("The autopsy report showed me why Jin died horribly: the bullet was illegally modified with poison tips. That poison was designed to deliver an excruciating death to it's target, particularly if it hits the neck.") Without the medicine, the hospital crew couldn't treat Shinzo and he soon died of cancer. ("That ****head had already taken the money that was needed for the medication to treat Shinzo's cancer and without the payment, he didn't make it. It's almost as if he knew about his cancer condition and that the money was needed to treat it.") After being questioned by police, and shown a photo lineup of multiple criminals with the face matching his description, he reveals the man, who assumed the identity of Jin Nagaga at school was actually a convicted sex, robbery, and weapons offender named Moriya Tsunamitsu. ("That man who murdered my brother was no teacher. That ***hole was a convicted sex and weapons offender, and his name was Moriya Tsunamitsu.") Moriya was once a teacher in the school but was fired for having a sexual affair with a student, whom he stole money from. He had escaped prison a year before that scene and had been preying on students from Okutama ever since, always evading the authorities somehow. For months after Jin's death, people, usually students, were found dead of poisoning and a bullet to their necks; Kaede has no doubt this is Moriya's doing but those murders had stopped a couple months ago. ("I don't know how many people here he preyed on and whether my brother was his first murder victim or we were both dealing with a serial killer. But I feel he's more of a bloodthirsty animal than a human and for months after that scene, his killing spree would continue.") It turns out Moriya took the form as Jin Nagama in terms of looks and identification so he could return to the school, but it's unkown why. It also became apparent that he made a getaway from the cops in a truck... the same truck that killed Hideaki's father. Perhaps he left something there, perhaps he planned to steal more money, but now Kaede realizes that man truly recognizes him after that argument.

What really sealed Kaede's knowledge that the teacher Jin was Moriya was the phrase at the end of the conversation, the remark about teeth. He fears that Moriya will follow through with his threat one year ago. Hideaki and Megumi comfort Kaede and convince him to return to school at the end of suspension. Megumi tell him that she too lost her older sibling to Mr. Kenatsu, who, thanks to Kaede, is now behind bars and at least she has some peace knowing her murderer faced justice. Also, seeing Kaede's head smashed on the table reminded her of how her sister died and she appreciates how he stood up for her against the teacher. Kaede reveals he had heard of that murder and that Hitomi and Jin knew one another and had an interest in each other; ultimately both of them died tragically, on the same day. That revelation only seemed to strengthen the love between Megumi and Kaede, another thing they had in common along with several. Kaede agrees to return, only to find out that Mr. Nagama is not in class and instead, a new temporary substitute teacher took his place; Kaede returns to his old lovable self. He is a bit disappointed though, that the school failed to determine that Jin Nagama is Moriya Tsunamitsu and that they didn't put him in even more trouble. Hideaki guesses that the man is likely no longer in Okutama by now.

One day, Hideaki got a message from Kaede and Kaede got a message from Hideaki for both to meet at a certain street. As they meet, they find out that neither of them sent the message and someone must of gotten access to their accounts and used them to bring them together. Another thing was that the street to meet was the same street where the murder of Jin Kojima occurred. Soon Hideaki spotted Mr. Nagama in a jacket holding a gun and makes Kaede go down, avoiding the shot. It become clear that Moriya Tsunamitsu a.k.a. Mr. Jin Nagama wants them both dead; Kaede to fulfill his desire for his death and Hideaki for being a witness to the turn of events. Kaede shockingly says "You again, you f****** animal?!" Moriya tells them, "I warned you about calling me that cowboy, along with the consequences! And that particular consequence falls into the "or worse" category!" Kaede replies, "Why? What do you really want?" Moriya responds, "The school has booted me for our little incident cowboy. I assume you both figured out who I really am? Before I leave Okutama, I have some unfinished business to take care of. Namely, you and your friend joining your brother and the boy's father... in death!" He was referring to him getting in trouble for punching a student and giving a suspension for an inappropriate reason and his remark for Kaede. He also reveals that he was the truck driver who killed Hideaki's father as he was eluding police. Kaede tells him to leave Hideaki out of this but Moriya refuses, saying, "Your friend was in this the moment he listened in to that violent argument." Moriya knew Hideaki was eavesdropping and intends to kill him as a witness. Moriya also planned to kill Megumi because of her connection with Kaede, "And once I've taken care of you both, I'll finish what Mr. Karasu Kenatsu started... your girlfriend b**** is next!" An enraged Kaede manages to suprise and knock the gun out of Moriya's hand but Moriya had a second gun, which he quickly takes out. "Never! You will not harm Megumi!" The first gun has normal bullets but the second gun was loaded with illegally modified bullets with poison tips. Kaede and Moriya soon get into a fist fight with Moriya slowly gaining the upper hand. (Image of Kaede and Moriya fighting while Hideaki is outside holding a gun) Hideaki manages to retrieve the gun that was knocked off. Kaede urges Hideaki to shoot the gun though Moriya was in front of Hideaki and the bullet may hit Kaede as well. (Kaede: "Do something! Don't just stand there! KILL THIS B******! Hideaki's thought "If I shoot, I'll hit Kaede as well. What can I do?")

This story has three endings depending on choice:

Shoot Moriya: Hideaki fires the gun, ("I'm sorry Kaede.") which rips through both Moriya and Kaede, Moriya then says, "Kaede, I enjoyed watching your brother die like a pig with its throat slit and I'd do the same to you and your friend if I had the chance. In fact I can still do it now to you and your friend." When Moriya rises up to attempt to attack, Hideaki shoots Moriya in the head, killing him instantly. He then goes to Kaede, who was mortally wounded and after a conversation ending with "I can finally be reunited with my brother. As for you, find an ideal partner. One like good-old Kaede Kojima. At least until you reunite with him... And tell Megumi that I truly love her and died so that she may live. At least she may forgive you if you do so." Kaede then dies in Hideaki's arms.
Gives Achievement: Pull the Trigger (Kaede's bad ending, image of gun in hand)

Intervene in the Struggle: Hideaki drops the gun and goes into the melee hoping to add his strength to Kaede's. However, Moriya still is stronger and knocks off Kaede and shoots Hideaki several times close to the heart. Kaede recovers and grabs a hard rock on the ground and hits Moriya repeatedly in the head and the gun hand, saying, "This is for my brother!" After knocking the gun off, Kaede hits him several times in the head and stops. When he sees Moriya is still alive and moving, he takes the gun Hideaki had and says, "This is for my friend!" before executing him with a bullet to the head, the spot where he hit him repeatedly with the rock. After that, Kaede pants and looks at his gun, wondering if he has become a killer himself; if he is now as bad as Moriya was, before throwing the gun away. Hideaki was mortally wounded and after a conversation, succumbs to the bullets' poison and dies in Kaede's arms. Kaede: "I wish I could have saved you partner. I'm generally not one to murder people. But with such a horrific scene, my rage was his fate and I take momentary solace in ensuring that he will not harm Megumi or anyone else for that matter." Hideaki: "I'm happy to know that both you and Megumi will live happily ever after." Hideaki is then reunited with his father and soon, his mother, who died of a broken heart after losing her son, the only thing she had left, to a killer.
Gives Achievement: My Rage was his Fate (Hideaki's bad ending, image of rock in hand)

Throw the Gun at Moriya: Hideaki prepares to throw the gun and Kaede sees this and tells him he'll be armed again if he catches it and it's better he just fires it. Hideaki replies, "I'll take my chances." and tosses the gun at Moriya's head, stunning him and giving Kaede a fighting chance. Hideaki then jumps into the fight and manages to knock off the second gun and Moriya is forced to flee. Hideaki then takes the gun he threw and shoots his leg, stopping him in his tracks. Kaede then grabs the gun with poison tips and aims it at his neck, preparing to execute Moriya for his crimes and to remind him of the painful and agonizing death his brother had been through. Hideaki proceeds to stop him, claiming that it would be better for justice to do the rest and revenge won't bring back anyone he's killed. Killing Moriya in such a way would only make Kaede almost as bad as him, even to the point of a "worthless animal". He reminds him that he said he is not one to kill people and to remember what he done to Mr. Karasu Kenatsu. After a moment of thinking, Kaede fires the all of the bullets in the clip next to Moriya. "I'm sorry Jin. I just... I almost let my rage get the better of me." Soon the police arrive after hearing the gunshots and take Moriya into custody while taking Kaede and Hideaki for questioning. Kaede, Hideaki, and Megumi (who learned of the incident), along with Ryo and Yui, arrive at the court of the trial of Moriya Tsunamitsu for the various crimes since his last sentence. The crimes notable for Kaede and Hideaki are one count of aggravated robbery, at least one count of first degree murder, the count of false identity, two counts of identity theft, a count of posession of illegal ammunition, and two counts of attempted murder. Of course, he was found guilty of all these charges plus others not pertaining to Hideaki and Kaede. He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. Kaede remarks "I only wish we had the death penalty in Japan, because that is what he deserves." Moriya replies to his statement, "If I do break out, nothing will stop me from seeing you bleed like an animal along with your friend and any other associated with you. And I'm not going to be alone." Afterwards, Hideaki, Megumi, and Kaede visit the graves of Jin Kojima and Shinzo Suguri, praying for their deliverance. They then return to school and find a new teacher, Mr. Jin Nagama, the real one, not the alter ego from Moriya Tsunamitsu. Kaede was slightly shaken but Hideaki and Megumi calm him, reminding him that the earlier Jin Nagama is rotting in prison. The scene ends with Hideaki watching as Megumi and Kaede kiss each other; with so much in common between them, they go all the way. The credits then roll.
Gives Achievement: No Death Penalty... (Kaede's good end, image of handcuffs)

After credits of good end: years have passed, Megumi and Kaede have gotten married and have birthed two children, a boy and girl. Karasu Kenatsu and Moriya Tsunamitsu had both died in an escape attempt from prison. An older Hideaki visits them one day and meets Megumi Kojima and Kaede Kojima (Megumi changed her last name as customary to weddings) with their daughter and son Hitomi and Jin, named after the deceased sister and brother of the parents. Kaede recently bought his wife a present: the uniform resembling that Megumi wore in high school, only with a bigger size fitting her; he remembered how pretty she was in her uniform. Although he is grown up, Kaede is still a cowboy wanabee and does cowboy activities usually with his son Jin but also with his daughter Hitomi. Megumi also became accustomed to cowboy activities and does them together with his family.
Gives Achievement: Happily Married (Kaede's second good end, image of older Megumi and older Kaede together)

The only DLC on the steam's store page is the original soundtrack but unfortunately I got most of the songs when playing through the game. perhaps, you could tell me other methods you know of for me to get the four other songs I haven't got; Believe in Me, Walk in the Park, This Day and The Plea I would truly appreciate it.

I had hoped the original artist could draw Kaede Kojima but I think that's unlikely, though I think I asked once. I had put lots of effort into making him fit into this story, even the developer said that he was from Texas and said he could make him work, but he never got onto working on him at all. I wonder if Unwonted Studios has been completely terminated and this VN will go under Sekai Project.

I would like an opinion of how Kaede's after story will compare to the after stories of the other characters and to the story as whole.

If you have advice or suggestions on how to improve my ideas so it fits into the storyline, plz leave it on this thread so I can adjust my storyline skeleton for Kaede. I had played through all paths of this VN and I am trying to make the new path fit in with the rest.
