Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers

Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers

Another base builder game. Surely this will be unique and not at all p2w.
Can't wait for the chinese whales to show up out of nowhere to zero your entire guild hive as everyone lives under a permanent 24/7 shield bubble.

How hard is it to keep a shield up? I've played this kind of game before and it quickly became miserable to engage with. It was costly to keep a shield going so you'd inevitably be attacked, usually by a whale, and more than once. You'd often wake up the following day to all of your items and troops having been wiped out. I'd like to give this a go but if I'm going to get notifications at 3:00am of an incoming whale attack night after night, I dunno...

I don't know, I haven't played this game in particular. They're all pretty much the same though.

However, If you've ever played a kingdom/base builder game you'll easily find out within a month or whenever the first PvP event is that "peace" is just wishful thinking by f2p who don't want to be burned or zeroed out.

Depending on what your whales are like in a server, they can be either opportunistic or just so full of ego they feel like being slighted is proper justification to zero out an entire hive or two so they get a dopamine rush. I have zero hopes for this game being any different, other than being a ported version on steam. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.

I played one back in 2017 and what you describe was basically my experience. I'm open to buying items, especially since it's a F2P game and devs have to make money somehow, but the amount of spending required just to stay afloat with no real growth was too high. The game was very clearly built for whales only so I quit. I launched this game without fully realizing what it was, and then when I reached the part of the story where you can see your outpost on the map and I saw the shield up, I was immediately like, "Well, crap..."
So I've only played a little bit but you start with a 3 day shield and after doing the first mission you gain another shield and so on. So its probably not to hard to get free shields just from playing.
