if it crashes: Under <disk>:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\tljh\Saved\Logs\tljh.log (on windows) should be a log file, which could give some hints on why. you can add me as friend and send it to me there, post it here or have a look at it yourself.
if there is no load option: in your Appdata/local folder, TLJH stores its savegames. there should be a tljh/savegames folder. if there is anything in there, definitly make a backup copy as a first step. next: if there is a auto.sav or rewind.sav but no global.sav, copy one of those and rename the copy to global.sav. might as well do that anyway.
Option to continue is there but it is stuck on loading screen. Suggests the crash screen popped up during the save.
I fixed it by deleting the autosave and renaming the one called "rewind" to "auto". Without the quotation marks. Though the underlying problem is of course still present. Which is unknown to me as windows event viewer ain't displaying any info regarding the crash. Seems to happen before the log can be created.
Where did you find the autosave "rewind" file? Even if i search for it in the steam folders it's not there
