Cannot return "Reeve" to his station

I found a wounded Reeve on a wreck and wanted to bring him back to his station. The Reeve told the coordinates of the station (which was a jump gate) to me but I could not solve the quest, because nothing happend when I wanted to show them the "Reeve" or whatever I did.
Is this a bug or do I miss anything?
