thanks for leting us know about your issue here, could you please elaborate a bit more, does this happen during a quest or at a specific point in the game? do you have screenshots also if you provide the seed you played and the exact location/quest/moment when this happens we could also try to reproduce the problem and see what exactly is happening.
thanks and if you have further questions please do ask, we try to answer as soon as we can.
cheers!
I would really be more elaborate if there was a need for it, but in this case, it's easy to see what's wrong. All you need is Miner's Buddy and a gas planet (basically one where gasses are floating around and you have to catch them), it's not quest related or anything.
I can provide screenshots anytime, it should be clear to see what's wrong. The seed/location don't matter too - it's an interface bug, caused by the fact that some gas pockets float too high for the interface to handle it.

Looking from left to right, the element tags for the 2nd and 6th gas pockets are just plainly missing (just like for any gas pocket that is above a certain height). As for the other tags, they're partially covered by a minimap visual element, which doesn't look good either.
Making Miner's Buddy overlay go OVER the minimap graphics should fix the second issue (a clearer font colour would be nice too), as for the first one, there are many solutions that I'm sure you can figure out.
Cheers!
PS. I'm using the GOG version of the game, but I'm fairly sure this should apply to the Steam version too, unless something went really wrong.
thanks for reporting and especially for the screenshot, we try to fix this as soon as possible! :)
