Hi, I flew onto a Meorcl planet and harvested resources, silly me didn't realize this annoys them severely and is a diplomatic faux pas, so their ships tried to kill me in orbit. Once we got to the intercept, they fired on me, I tried to charge up my weapons because these guys were hostile to me and I would go down fighting, darnit.

However, all that happened when I charged my weapons was them going offline and a textbox appearing, it was the Meorcl saying "You shall shut your weapon systems...". I was basically nearly destroyed and barely able to escape, feeling rather cheated by not being allowed to properly defend my crew's honour in combat. This feels like a bug, although there is a possibility that it is not. If it isn't, then something hasn't been communicated to me properly.

Aside from this hiccup, I'm enjoying the game though, I'll probably restart this run once I inevitably get killed and play on story mode to see some more content :)
