Pressing Y Doesn't Work

I'm playing with a Dual Shock 4 pad, so I don't know if that has something to do with it, but whenever I'm told to Press Y, it just bleeps at me and doesn't do what I need.

This happens in the lander or the ship, I wind up having to press W on the keyboard to contact aliens, or visit places of interest. Is it the pad, or just a really weird glitch?

Hello Acelister,

this is not supposed to happen.

Do you have any input mappers active? For example "InputMapper" or "DS4Windows"? If so please disable them during play, they are not needed and tend to interfer.

Is your DS4 connected via Bluetooth? We have some bugreports about problems when running in this way and need to investigate. You should have no problems when connected via USB cable, though.
