What is drill efficiency?
What exactly does drill efficiency do? Does it decrease time to mine or does it increase yield or does it lower mining difficulty or? Trying to figure out what it does.

I think it is the speed at which you harvest resources.

Possibly leading to less damage to the lander due to less time harvesting?

I think it means how much resources you can get out from the well before being depleted. Higher efficiency = Higher yield.
