Is this game for me if I liked Star Trek: Voyager? :)
The premise sounds totally like it, so I'm wondering how this would be for an old Star Trek fan :)

The game certainly has voyager vibes.
I would say that there are a lot of other things to consider though.
Basically:
Lorewise, you're on your way to the first faster than light jump of human history, a bit of scanning, and a straight jump back. that goes wrong, but your ship and crew are not prepared. Can you deal with the general trend of things falling apart until you as a player know what you do?(if you know what you do, things still fall apart, though)

As well as: if one fails, one fails over a longer period, and it's most of the time not one single error that kills you: Are you able to rethink your entire strategy?

And: it's all about the knowledge, atmosphere and drama. About consequences. There is one autosave, and that's it.
Can you deal with gain only being knowledge about the, in my opinion, core game play of decision making?

Sorry for the wall of text. the game is quite good at what it does. but that involves trying to give you a cultural shock and putting you in hopeless situations to rescue you from said hopeless situations.
