Game crashes to desktop when communicating with other races

It doesn't happen all the time but occasionally when a new ship / faction communicates with me the game crashes. No idea about where I might find logs etc. anyone encountered this? any solutions?

What OS are you using, what hardware?
I have seen crashes when the game goes particle heavy in the lander cutscenes for example, ill look wether someone else has reported crashes with alien communication.

I recommend the usual updating drivers and verifying file integrity via steam as a first measure if you haven't done so.

For windows
the log file is in <disk>:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\tljh\Saved\Logs\
as tljh.log.
The windows event log and/or windows reliability monitor may help shed light onto the problem.

I'm only encountering crashes when conversation starts

I don't have a Mac, so i do not really know much about them.
You can also try the official support at https://www.daedalicsupport.com .That might take a bit, though, since it is the bundled support for all Daedalic stuff.
