Bunch of game play info about wind:
Wind is weaker higher up, so going back and forth is easier there than close to the ground. Looping around is also a thing. You can use the landers thrusters to press you against a surface for e.g. mining (works less good on frozen surfaces). There is a module that helps with wind for the lander(usually Reeve and Entrope sell lander stuff).
That said, there seem to be - as usual - a variety of methods to cheat or unlock devtools out there in the internet which could be used to dabble with the value at runtime, or obtain said wind-protection item for the lander for free. But use those at your own risk (security of your machine or making the decision gameplay meaningless or whatever that entails).
