Wait, I can be blamed for another ship wrecking into a planet?
So I was having the BEST run I've had in my few hours of play.
My spawn was good, I managed to gain Allies with the Reeve and Logos only after 2 Jumps. everything just worked, crew were healthy and I got Good RNG. (can give seed if you want)

But then.. That STUPID Mizzurani ship Just had to follow me and for SOME God forsaken reason; rammed right into a Reeve colony I was talking with and I went from almost having the highest standing.. to being full blown enemies.

Because I somehow caused them to crash into the planet.

I didn't even know this mechanic existed!
Ignoring that fact though, why was it my fault???
This is like my 18th death now. And most deaths I knew it was my own fault.
But this truly rubbed me the wrong way.

I looked for info about this mechanic for a bit and saw no one really bring it up. But maybe this is just common knowledge and I am just too new to have realized.
But for those New to the Game...

Newsflash: you can take out friendlies by just have a ship follow you around.
(Though I must say this has palpable possibilities against enemies.)

The game has a lots of litte informational bits one can notice ... or miss. The one you seem to have missed here is: look at the map when in a system with Mizzurani while being far away from them:

They never leave orbit.

Unlike all other NPC's the friendships never travel on their own. They only follow. and they only follow you. While that comes in handy when trying to detect wether a planet may be infected from afar, it also comes back to bite you here.

Mizzurani meet you. Mizzurani ask for new home. Mizzurani follow you and finally leave their orbit. Mizzurani see uninfected planet. Mizzurani crash into and infect.Mizzurani found new home.

From the outside - speaking lore wise here - it looks like you picked up the Mizzurani, and guided them right onto the doorstep of somebody else.

Mechanics wise it's part of the whole "lock you out of planets" stuff the mizzus have going on.

Seeds with the Mizzurani are usually considered harder. But one of the games major species quest is about them. Hint ahead you need Zoe for that quest

Appreciate the info, yeah I must of missed it somehow.
It wasn't the first time I saw someone following me, so I assumed it was normal.
Twas my own fault for not noticing.

A lot of ships do like to follow you, indeed. It's a combination of things to notice and trying to understand that dialog. Not your fault, just the game being the game i'd say :)

Could you AT LEAST put it somewhere in dialog that they will FOLLOW? I am getting frustrated of all theese obscure mechanics, the rng itself is a big pain.
