Worth at the discount now?

Is it worth buying at the discount that is now? Are there many things to do in-game for the player?

I've only had it for a couple of hours, admittedly, but it's holding up really nicely.

Not really. Don't buy it, you'll get bored or frustrated.

Depends what you're here for. The spaceflight and planetary mechanics are fairly realistic, which is unusual, but I like it (conservation of momentum and such). There's a heavy emphasis on ship maintenance and crew health which is fun for some but nitpicky for others. Also, RNG can really f you sometimes. I enjoy it, but it's not for everyone.
Addendum: there's a lot to do/find, good for many playthroughs, but the specifics of some can be obtuse or hard to find.
