-windowed
to launch options and you have a bordered window mode
But that window only has a thin line as a boarder. It is anchored in the upper left corner of the screen and cannot be moved as far as I can tell. All you can do is drag the 2 un-anchored sides to make the window larger or smaller.
When I go to "windowed" mode I'm stuck playing with my head turned far to the left which gets quite uncomfortable after a few minutes. I cant easily face the left or right monitor full time as my keyboard is on a slide-out tray under the center of the desk.
True Windowed mode would give a full border and allow the user to drag the window anywhere on the screen they want. That is what is needed. I've also seen games that allow size option like "-w XXX -y YYY" so the game plays at that size centered on the screen(s) with the surrounding space just black.
My issue is I have 3 large monitors in Nvidia Surround mode so my resolution (with bezel padding) is 6060x1200.
In full screen, the game auto resizes to 6060x???? so I see a zoomed in stripe across the middle of the game with a lot of it out of reach off the top and bottom of the screen. I can mostly get by but I cannot see what I'm drilling into when I land... The drill danger bar is off the bottom of the screen So all I can do is drill till something breaks or just blind guess when to stop.
I want a way to drag/move the windowed screen to my center monitor.
you can try to find start options common for games running the unreal engine and see if those work here.
i suggest you join the discord, maybe ypu can work out a fix together with the devs, or at least get faster answers (not guaranteed)
6060x1200 is definitely wider than anything we tested, I'm afraid. But still the image should not be cut off like that - it might be an issue in the resolution detection (ie the game might be confused about your actual screen resolution).
I have a 49" ultra wide screen and its a neck breaking move to look at the game over there to the super far left side of the screen.
