Have a look at our wiki where our space battles section of getting started is entirely empty!
- player's current orbit should be shown on the map (or is it possible already with a corresponding system installed on my ship?);
- planet info should be shown as a tooltip on the map and star system info window;
- ping others while orbiting around a planet;
- the map and my position on it during ancounter so I will know the exit direction;
- a sound warning with every damage the lander takes.
Also I would like my ship to keep moving after thrusting during encounters (as in real life).
Make the mouse cursor skinned already.
- the button to mine more than 3 pixels in sensitivity
- buttons stated correctly (0 to land, but it's actually Q)
- like Kev said over a year ago, thrust speed shouldn't drop off for no reason
- medical bag shouldn't be single-use. if its single-use then if you have the medic, you should be able to treat stuff without supplies. Natural healing should be a thing. All supplies expended upon healing a concussion? Yeah no.
This game is actually pretty fun but frustrating, but not in a bad way (idk how to discribe it). Not frustating because the UI or controls are terrible, but because most things are random (as it should be in this game, since you are in space yk), like in my second/third? run I died just one jump away from the end as the blackhole did more damage than expected. So you need to think some steps ahead, like: where do I jump now? what will my plan be there; am I just passing trough or do I land on planets? how should I go to get from A to B. etc.
At the beginning you just need to know your next two jumps tho
The controls are the actually the easiest part in the game, speaking about lander control (I can only speak for keyboard and mouse, since I don't use controller), you just need to know how your lander behaves if gravity or wind is strong. The complete knowledge for this you learn in, lets say, 20-30 minutes?, maybe less
Same goes for ship control
I would recommed only flying with keyboard since the mouse is just weird sometimes
oh and btw: if the description of the planets says "deadly", they mean it.
