i think you made bad decisions... we all do in our first few runs, but wether you learn and adapt, or give up is entirely your choice :)
theres no patching it, its not broken.
i must admit i did complain when my i fixed a "blocked injector nozzle" and the next landing i broke it again... The negative effect from taking damage is randomised, and i just got unlucky.. next time i wont land on a planet im not prepared for.
And yes, I naturally made a bunch of them in my first playthroughs. But I got so sick of "wear and tear" breaking brand new subsystems that this time I only moved from orbit to orbit in a single system, and my lander never touched the ground at any time. My ship still ended up about 50% broken! My mining laser had never been turned on at all, but broke in the middle of interplanetary space from "wear and tear".
That isn't me. That's a damned bug.
Getting home despite the difficulty, despite the unfair rng, despite the challenge!
Be the conqueror of your fate or whine because you bumped your toe on the first rock you encounter. It's your choice.
it didnt tell you not to do it, but thats intentional. sorry dude :/

If it´s a bug, or even just constructive critique, you can report it to the developers and you will find them most cooperative
im rather blunt but not heartless. either way, you'll always get arrogant people like me who say "i can do it why cant you!" when the game is a bit tough.. im not in the game itself so you dont need to wory about reading anything i say while playing :D
BE SMART PEOPLE. DON'T BUY THIS GAME UNTIL THEY HAVE REAL SUPPORT.
everywhere are people that don´t seem to get along well with each other and that is totally fine, but you should judge a game for what it offers for you rather than how other players appeal to you. Just my thought
Everytime you jump with a damaged ship (you know, the WHOLE premise), something may go wrong.. gasp, imagine that!
So, WHAT "problem" were you discussing?
Was it an issue you were having with the game mechanics, or was it an actual, real "problem"?
