Mythmoor Old Server, New Experiences (US East Coast Professionally Hosted, Massive space!)
Come join Mythmoor today! The oldest running WU server that has never had a wipe or extensive downtime!

We have 3 great servers in our cluster to choose from, all of the maps can be found under the Maps link on our main menu at our website (site link at end of post).

We have a very active, helpful friendly community. We have 2 full pve servers, and our newest server is a 8192 map with a 2048pvp zone smack in the middle.

Custom Bounty system which gives karma for killing mobs and lower bounties in pve with higher risk rewards in pvp! Wan't those crafting materials for runes, if you kill things in the PVP zone there is a chance a rift resource node will spawn, so bring your hatchets and pickaxes!

We have a discord, but you will need to join us in game for the info on that.

If you have trouble finding the server on the list by doing sort by players, the IP is 65.21.201.212 default port should work to connect by IP.

It seems people are having issues with the wurm launcher, to fix it use this method:

Open steam, go to view -> servers, click the favorites tab, click add server in the bottom right, use 65.21.201.212:27016 add it, then refresh in the bottom right (not by right clicking) a few times, then open the launcher and check favorites tab. Yes I know this is a different port, this is the steam query port not the game connection port.

Come join the server where you can craft all of the kingdom flags, wagons and banners. You can craft a Julboard, you can craft artifact model weapons, you can craft most anything, and more to come rather than buy them

Things you can purchase on the server are all an option, should not be something required to have to play. There are some fancy things for supporters only, like vanity mounts. This is something custom modded into the game for server support options.

Our skillgain and action rates are 7.5x and 3.0x which is a nice balanced pace for most all steam gamers. It is not so fast everything is instant, it is not so slow it is a headache grind, but it is that perfect balance of get things done but still feel like you accomplished something.

Chaos Terror slaying today, must get past the white drake widowmaker first to spawn the chaos terror. Come join the frey, if you are not currently playing on Mythmoor but did in the past, come join us they may need the help.

We had a good time at the chaos terror event. Players fought hard but the beast proved to be too much to handle, the gods spared their lives and gave them a consolation prize for attending.

Battle was closed last week. In favor of an epic free large pvp zone in the cetner of our huge northlands map. Characters from battle can be recovered, however if you come in and start talking crazy in our global we may be hesitant on recovering your character. If it has already gotten to a point that staff is making a decision on whether to recover your character or not, and you spam them with private messages the request may just get ignored all together.

There was a 1 week warning to close it, then it was allowed to remain open for an additional 3 weeks. Plenty of time was alerted to active players. We are willing to help patient, understanding, and friendly players that fit in with our community to recover old battle characters. If you hop in our global chat complaining we are doing things wrong, then make your request to have your character recovered, then spam us in pm's it is not very likely to go well for you.

Beyond that we have a player run slaying event this weekend as well as a race! Come enjoy a fun, active, friendly environment.

A maintenance restart was done this morning, but the mod updates are being held off for a bit longer as I am still testing the next Mythmoor custom Unique creature.

Server has been updated to version 1.3.5.5 you will need to update your clients to connect. When updating your client remember if you are using any client mods you will need to run the patcher.bat again to attempt to make them work. You may also want to check for updated versions of your mods before attempting to do so. If your client will not launch after patching the mods, try doing a file integrity check and launching in vanilla version to see if it is the mods or not. Our players are welcome to contact me if they are having trouble and I will attempt to help them out.

Had to make some adjustments to a few mods to get everything working. There may be some bugs and issues. If so please use /support to inform me of the bug so that I can work on a fix for it.

I did not add any new mods that I have prepared today, because I want to squash any issues from the official update first. Hopefully will be ready for a server custom update on friday!
