the last destitution was from 2021 and there's no updates from what looks like ever i am assuming from being over 5 years ago or smth. i used to love this game what happened?

just got the game and trying it out, I set the joystick, pick logitech, and save/confirm, go into the gamer and got mouse and keyboard ? one time did come out and see that the joystick was still set up as the control device, but was still using mouse and keyboard to control ? any ideas interesting and looks good as one other stated, joystick control, needs to work off of how a flight stick works, not set to arcade (kind of the reason to play with the stick and not the mouse)...
