Trying to recover abandonware game, need advice
Hey there, I'm trying to import .ANM, .TEX, and .GRP files into Blender to try and re-render them in a usable state for porting to UE4 if possible. These are meshes from a PS1 game I'm attempting to update to an extent, mainly because the studios that devved it are totally dead, and the publisher Take2 might not even realize they still own the IP.

Does anyone know if Steam has any plugins for this? So far I haven't managed to open any of these seemingly EA proprietary meshes in any capacity.

You could try using a converter online to export the files as a compatible type that can be opened with Blender

So far the converters I've tried haven't been able to recognize the files, even though they claim to be able to handle them, aside from one which... was honestly unintelligible, and I couldn't find a way to save the file it was presenting.

Do you have one in mind that would work?
