Why would you? He is the patriarch of metal, just look at him:) As for the griffon, I think this can help: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=694078335&searchtext=
Problem is Lore of Metal suuuuucks in this game.
As to favorite wizard.. I haven't experimented much with the new lores. I played a little beastmen, but I still couldn't even tell you which lore had which spells. As far as the Empire goes though, Fire has always been a good lore to me. Fireball is one of few spells you can trust to at least do some damage in my experience, and the buff spells are nice as well.
Amber so far is the best between manticore summoning, ridiculous damage on overcasted amber spear and effects of flock of doom. Also griffin's blood roar is pretty usefull too.
Bright Wizard is a good all-rounder.
Amber is a decent damage dealer. But amber spear is great damage and pierces through mutiple units( kinda like wind of death but narrower).
Celestial is good all around IMO
Light is good but Situational
I really wish Wizards had passive abilities and skills that increase spell damage and effectiveness, lowering mana cost, decreasing cooldown etc. They could have really gone in depth on magic but didn't it has allot of potential In Warhammer.
Lore of metal also is in need of some buffs. Gold wizards are perhaps the most usefull in military for a variety of ways their magic can be used to help. And Gelt is suposed tobe badass. HE IS THE FREAKING SUPREME PATRIARCH. He won the freaking duel for the title of the strongest wizard in the Empire.
Ikr its just a big kick in the balls to Magic Lore in general and Gelt himself.
