Random but why not I suppose

I was really confused reading this announcement. A random physical copy with no additional content for the first game?

There had already been a different physical bundle a bit over a year after the last update.

I'd have to assume this is to gear people up for the third instalment. You know, get the old races so you can have them in the new one.

Just a theory though, may just as easily be a cash grab? I mean I liked the WH1 grudge edition when I bought it (loved the map) but it sort of feels unnecessary to do this to me for any other reason.

Certainly need more information as to WHY they've gone and done this, otherwise I really do believe the community will see this as a blatant cash grab. Just fingers crossed that is not the case, considering their other work has been enjoyable to me.
Who knows, maybe they are planning a Chaos revamp, the dark gods know the Beastmen are in serious need of some love. Still one of my favourite instalments in the franchise.

Cash grab from who? It's just a small bundle for new players.

I'm honestly surprised CA took the effort to make this pack considering they left Warhammer 1 for dead.

i got it but i wish there was skaven in wh 1 since 2 runs worse for me.

1) Both races perform perfectly well in WH1.
2) WH1 is a finished game. Those exist. You may not be old enough to understand why this is a thing, or perhaps starting playing games with the truly obscene and somehow still ongoing cashgrab that is World of Warcraft...but nevertheless.

Nah man Warhammer 1 is straight garbage compared to 2. Absolutely no reason to go back after you've played the second one as the 2nd is an upgrade in every way

Aside of model graphics. Units from WH1 except perhaps VC are way pretier than garbage WH2. Thin, weird colours infantry. Big monsters are ok though.

beastmen in game 1 suck and will be repaired in game 2 and not game 1.

game 1 is nothing compared to game 2. And since you are starting crossover DLC´s i see no more reason to even buy game 1. Most of the game 1 races are in game 2 for free and have better mechanics then in game 1.

if i could i would refund game 1 and all of the DLC because the race i wanted is free in game 2. Were the race also gets the fun mechanics to play with...

By most you mean one?
