is this a dead game

I started playing this a little while afo but stopped when I realized it came in parts. I have searched for any updates and news and found nothing recent. Should I just shelf this game?

I remember reading that the story wasn't done or something.

So at the end of episode 2, the page where it shows your kills and score, why in the field where befriended crew member it says none despite I have been on an outing one of the crew? Is there a different condition for to 'befriend' someone?

I recently encountered a bug in Freija's route, the side mission during the second interval, which requires having a mock battle with Freija was bugged. After the countdown, the screen froze and Lapis is nowhere to be found. The two smaller ships just moves around aimlessly and even the background music broke. Does anyone else having the same problem? And if possible, any tips on avoiding it?...
