Just some feature requests gathered in one place:

* Add a 'load save' option (without exiting the entire game to get to it).
* Load the player first during screen transition so we can figure out where we are quickly.
* Add a 'player status' and 'ship status' option to the menus (note: not every ship is in the ship DB). You can sorta see player status when using a healing item, but not really. I want to see my skills / armor / HP / diseases all together for player status. (Speaking of which, is it possible to have multiple diseases? I assume so but I haven't seen it... in other news, status always appears to be 'okay' even when I just got a disease.)
* Text speed setting: I'd like to be able to set it to max. I have to dismiss it immediately if I have to loot something in the way during battles, so there's no time to wait for it.
* Improved descriiptions: item descriptions could be used to show item defense (or laser battery cost / power). Speaking of which, for some reason, equipping the upgraded laser lowered my attack? This seems odd given that it does more damage now.
* Clarify the F1 menu: It's not at all clear what buttons map to what commands. What are A, B, C, X, Y, L & R anyhow? That sounds like a cross between the button names for Sega Gensis and a SNES.
