Location of progress data file
Hiya, I have the game installed on two different computers and I want to copy the files over so I can contrinue with my progress (unlocks and stuff) on the second pc.

I've looked everywhere. Found A clever plays folder in C:\Users\*user*\AppData\LocalLow but there's nothing in it.

On the same subject, will you be adding cloud saving support in the future?

Aha! It's hidden in the registery, of all things.

Press windows key+r and type in regedit

It's under

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clever-Plays\Leap of Fate

Right click on the clever plays folder and choose "export" and you should be able to just run the .reg file on your other machine to update the progress.

Yeah, that save system needs a lot of work. We are going to change them really soon, and yes, the cloud saves will be supported.

Also... Wow, we didn't know about that trick! Good detective work here! :D
Really a shame I can't (or don't know how to) pin a discussion at the top, I would have done it for this post. It could be useful for some players...

You need to go in your Forum Admin Page. You can Pin thread so they stay at the top all the time.

Thanks a lot for this info, I also learned while looking for this that we were not marked as moderators... Now it's done. We're still new with these tools. Eh. This is pinned. :D

Is there a way to reset my progress and start over?

Does deleting and re-installing the game work, or do I need to do something clever with my Registry?

In the Title Screen, you should find an option button in the menu on the bottom left of the screen. There should be a Delete Data button there. Just to be sure, you should restart the game, but after that everything should be like new.

Doesn't seem like it.
I formated my computer the other day, and was a bit surprised my saves didn't carry over when I re-installed everything.

cloud saves, at least for me, aren't working. shows 0mb/9.5mb. only reason im posting is because i play on my laptop/pc and need to figure out how to effortesly transfer saves. thanks

Just an FYI: Cloud saves still don't seem to work. Save is on Windows 10 desktop. Can't resume from my Windows 10 laptop. Steam says the game is using none of its cloud save storage.
