i just spent the last half hour trying to find a single server (with more than 0 people playing) that wasnt an auto redirect to fastpath and i was literally unable to accomplish this goal, theres about 20 servers with people in them that arent co-op and every single one redirected to the fastpath server full of bots who spawn with every weapon by default. im not even against the idea of playing against bots if its my only choice... but this is insane. i almost wish you guys would clean up all of these fake servers they run, its so demoralizing. either i play fastpath or i play nothing it seems

no disrespect to the collective or the forum mods, even if it may come off that way from my post. im just really sad because i love the multiplayer a lot but ive only played on non fastpath servers a handful of times, maybe less than 15 matches with real people who have to compete for weapons on the map with me (as was intended)

also is there some sort of command i can use in the console to keep the list of servers loaded? it really shoulda only took >10 mins to sift through that list of servers, but since it refreshes everytime and freezes my pc for 10 sec as i scroll down it took legit 30 mins to check the servers

This happen only with This game and HL2DM only or other too?

This need a fix, seriously

Some years's ago Malwarebytes was able to block some IP, but next a problem was happen and i have disable it because all server stop working with that... i don't know now if is fixed or not

Malwarebytes still seem to do something when opening the server browser, especially the Steam one. Whitelist any false positives.

who knows how to add classic server menu, i see only simplified server list no shows ip. Steam servers window dont show BMS servers and history too.
Fastpath is cancerous tumor and it needs to be cut!

Hey everyone,

As you may be aware from numerous other posts. A lot of servers are being spammed by fastpath.fr who create fake servers since now over one year.

I like to use the server browser and check out new servers from time to time. I get quite annoyed by these fake server names which all forward you back to fastpath.fr servers against your will.

Therefore I have created a blacklist for all the Fastpath servers known to date. I will try and update this as more gets added.

To use it, download the zip file and extract server_blacklist.txt

For hl2dm you can use the import menu:
Open hl2dm > open the server browser > open Blacklist Servers tab > click "Import Servers From File" > Select fastpathblacklist.txt which you exported earlier.

For Blackmesa:
Close Blackmesa
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms\cfg
Paste the server_blacklist.txt file in that folder.
Say Yes if asked to replace.

They have stolen your steam auth ticket because you still appear to play there.
They are scammers and create about 80+ fake servers on the many games.

You might have noticed many server you click on redirect you there?

They steal server + player names - making it hard for anyone to find a real server.
They also steal your Steam Auth ticket for up to 5 days.
The way to revoke it is to connect to a legitimate server. < IMPORTANT
They ban and then request money for unbanning players.
They publish players real identities.
