Blue Shift Focal Point crashes again and again
OK, so I've watched a play through on YouTube - no crashes, but for me, when I get passed the Giant crystal and move on to the small island hopping, everything is fine right up till the green pillar turns red and the Vorts start teleporting - I get an instant crash. The way out of this is to keep island hopping and it doesn't happen, but then it crashes again when your in the small Hab and more teleport in. I was really wanting to complete this today, and I'm stuck with the crashes. It's similar to the load crashes I randomly got before the update. Any ideas welcome.

Yes, its a crash fest with the "new UI" option, almost every time you open a console it will close down.

Try to lower textures resolution. I had one crash where the engine showed a popup that it ran out of the VRAM and suggested to lower that. Dropped that setting from Ultra to High and had zero issues after that.

Still crashes after every fourth save.
Lost count.
Everything turned down.
I am using the unstable divk shortcut.
The stable one runs the game like molasses.

Just avoid pressing esc and save with hotkey pressing F6.

Using the recommended settings in the options and no crashes.

Do you have a save file after that place? I stuck at the same point and could not go further.

Are you starting the game with Oldgameui as well?

Had almost the same problem in focal point after crashing into the room above the gate. Always crashed in the corridor when loading. Switching to the oldui .exe somhow fixed it for me
