Very Honest Review (April 4th 2025 Play Test)
I'd recommend this super cozy farm to table cooking game. Overall it runs really smoothly and I found it very enjoyable when in the momentum of the game. I think gameplay itself has a good balance, with all its aspects together. With the frequency and amount of customers, it's easy to create a pattern of accepting customer orders when delivering a meal. With maintaining the garden and animals and time to make the menu items, you are constantly doing something, but not feeling overwhelmed. If you do miss a customer there appears to be no negative repercussion, just one less customer for the day. Although I suggest giving this game a try at the time of playing this there are a few bugs and issues that need to be addressed.

Menu: There is a slight disconnect in the location of the mouse when in setting in menu both in game or main menu. Specifically the bar for music volume your cursor has to be above the bar before it's highlighted, and if on the music bar the sfx bar is highlighted.

Relaunching the game: With Relaunching the game causes sound settings to reset to default, everytime. There is no quit to title/main menu option.

Basic Game play: Game doesn't have basic instruction or intro to start.You kinda just hop in your bedroom and have to navigate and figure out what is going on. There is no story or reason why you are doing what you are doing . Best tip was on the main menu to look for "Alan" the little chicken with the red headband. He gives vague instructions but without it being paired with any of the basic keyboard/controller buttons you have to look at the ‘data’ menu to figure that out.

The closet; disconnected hitbox locations Skin, Shirt,Pant and accessory colour selection have incorrect hitbox location. The cursor has to be just on top of the box to be able to select rather than the box itself. With that if it is closer to the left side of the box it will select the colour on the right instead. Close box on bottom has a very large hit box compared to the actual button. it reaches above the halfway point of the accessories colour selection boxes and almost to the top or the right 'spin' arrow, making it a little difficult to select those colours or spin your character that direction.

Store: buying items in store is difficult as you have to click and hover item and press “E” otherwise it doesn't always purchase item and closes out the store.

Finishing a day: when the pop up comes to finish your day with either “go to bed” or “night owl” . If you choose “night owl” when in the tab menu you can press “Open Shop!” and start a new day. When doing this you can grow crops, but your animals won't continue to make their resources, so you can run out of eggs or milk.

Kitchen: when in the kitchen and pressing ‘F’ for the tool tip instead of keeping the pictures steady, they almost pulsate, making a slightly nauseating display. After mixing ingredients on table I had to step outside of the range of the table, so it was no longer highlighted, otherwise i couldn't pick up the meal that was just mixed

Menu: pressing ‘1’ or ‘2’ you can cycle through the ingredient list of what the menu item is looking at, but it does not show what the cooking method is.

I have a few things I hope get added along the process of this game releasing but overall this is an exciting start and I look forward to what comes next.
