Trials of cloisters all suck and Jecht fight also sucks but the story is a 10/10

the most peak ff game but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Blitz ball still blows to this day

perhaps the greatest mainline final fantasy entries in my opinion. they obviously have their issues but there's truly nothing like them, primarily with their aesthetics. i really enjoy how square enix's primary goal was to make them as non-western as possible, and i think they definitely succeeded. their gameplay is very good too, particularly 10's sphere grid. i'm also quite fond of 10-2's dressphere system because of how straightforward it is. honestly my only gripe with these HD ports is the decrease in quality, but they're still worth playing if you can't get your hands on the PS2 versions. overall 10/10 for both of these, the only other final fantasy game that could possibly be better is very obviously 7

the camera angle of this game is so cringe

Terrible port. Graphical glitches (like invisble characters; green screen during whole cutscenes), frequent low fps even on lowest settings (my computed has specs far above the recommended). Turns the game pretty much unplayable.

What the hell is this?! So many bugs! Game kept crashing every few minutes, then during cutscenes, the whole screen turns green. On top of that, there are graphical issues where the character models disappear, leaving me with a floating hair of Tidus.

Final Fantasy X -

Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Nice and interesting story. Fun character leveling progression system and challenging, time consuming optional content for the completionist.

Only problem I had besides a couple of times the game crashing while taking screenshots was that the cinematics did, a couple of times bug out and turned the screen just completely green for a while which is apparantly some kind of memory issue when the game is left running for an extended period of time. There are workarounds for this issue.

Now time for X-2.

Even though this game is pretty old by now, it still plays really well and has a unique and fun story. More modern Final Fantasy games may have better graphics and more real time fighting, but this game is still very playable and very good
