AVTale

Demo is coming! Update v.01304.25

Hello everyone!

I am happy to announce the upcoming release of the demo version for the upcoming festival "NEXT FEST"!

A major update was focused primarily on the multiplayer component, which was not there a month ago. A few visual fixes and innovations in the gameplay. And of course, two new languages!

What was done:

Network co-op:

Lobby menu for two players with a choice of skills for each.
Full synchronization: movements, animations, skills, enemies, quest items.
All quests have been completely redesigned for the network mode. Both players are full-fledged players. *And not an observer as it sometimes happens.

Localization:
Added voice acting for dialogues in English!
Added Ukrainian language.
Added Chinese (Simplified) language.
Made corrections to the translation in English and German.

Gameplay
"Departing soul" animation for enemies after death.
Sounds and animation of skill casting for players.

Subscribe, add the game to your wishlist. And most importantly - suggest.

I am alone in development and ideas and this is my first experience. I am ready to add many suggested ideas to the game!

Hello everyone!

I am the only person who is developing this game. And I would like to tell you a little about the plans and what we already have :)

So, let's get down to the list of what has already been developed:

The gameplay is completely built on the co-op of two players. You can play both on one PC and online with friends. The screen is divided into two halves for each player.
1 location is completely filled with content: Monsters, bosses, a dozen riddles, traps, quests with dialogues and voice acting, variability of passage. Duration of passage up to 2 hours.
Not much, but 12 Steam achievements :) Do you want me to add yours? Create a discussion in the game thread ;)
More than 20 unique skills. Each player has only their own skills, without the right interaction their effectiveness will be low. Each combat skill has its own element and they can be combined!
Calculating the utility coefficient of each player. Find out which of you is more useful :)

And now to what I have in my plans before the demo:

The network mode is still in alpha. Synchronization is at the highest level, but not all details are synchronized between two players.
Creating an additional 10 skills before the demo version is released.
Creating a leaderboard by level completion time.
Release of the demo version.
