New to Mining
Ok what's the best ship and equipment for normal mining I'm just starting, so I don't want to explode asteroids yet loll. Money is not a problem but I don't have access to federal locked ships, I have access to all the empire ones though.

I want something that I will keep and use when I need, not something that I will want to upgrade in a month when I'm better at it.

I use a Cutter for laser mining and a T8 for core/etc.

The original Python is great for both jobs too.

I'm going to have to watch a bunch of vids on that to get an idea of what I need (equipment wise)and how to use it lol

My mining ship for laser mining is a Beluga. 5 mining lasers and 7 collector limpets.

For laser mining I like the Anaconda. Or the Python if you're planning on selling at an outpost.
