Common Problems and Solutions
Issue: I get a "Out of memory" crash

Solution:
This occurs if you use the developer reset too many times.

Press "reload," then save the game. Quit the game and then load your save. The problem should be resolved.

If this crash occurs when config.developer is set to False, please make a separate report.

Issue: I can't see units on the battle map.

Solution:
1. Press shift+g in the game.
2. Press "Force Angle/Direct X Renderer"
3. Restart game

When I press the import button, the game says there's no Mask of Arcadius save file, but I still have Mask of Arcadius installed on my computer at the correct version (7.2 Beta). I reloaded my end game save and clicked on "yes" to create an export file twice, but still no avail. Anyone else getting this issue? (Reposted from other thread)

Oh boy I was afraid of that happening. There's honestly too many different things outside the game which can make the importer/exporter not work. If it fails, then plz just use the questionnaire for now...

That's understandable. I can proceed with the game using the questionnaire for now, but was hoping to carry over whatever I could from the previous game.

Out of curiosity, is the export feature at end of MoA supposed to generate a brand new file? Because I didn't see a new save generated anywhere I could see.

it should generate "persistent" inside game/saves/ and [Computer User]/AppData/roaming/Renpy/Sunrider

not sure if its normal
but their seems to be an issue with the FPS
im getting around 5 to 25fps

also out of curiousity regarding the english combat voiceovers
would copy, pasting and overwriting the combat voices from MoA into ...wherever they need to go in LD work ?

as im not only missing asaga firing her lazers, i find myself muting the voices as the female vo's are a little highpitched :< (no offence to my japanese counterparts)
also would adding subtitles to the combat voices be possible at some point in the future?
as im curious to know what in spacewhales they are saying :o

found a bug in the first battle (dont know yet for the other battle) where if you select a weapon and then switch unit the selected unit will fire the selected weapon (kinda funny when chigara fire sola gun XD)

I had the import error also, but I did some stuff and it worked afterwards.


"Go back to Sunrider: MoA; load up the latest save that's near the end of the chapter 2, finish it. Then you'll have a message asking you if you want to make a special save(or something like that).
Then start Sunrider: LD. click start game, at the very top you'll see "IMPORT" click on that, then it should import your save.

I do see the persistent file in the MoA game folder. Should that be copied over to the Liberation Day save folder?

Okay, to those having trouble with the Import. Try finding an earlier MoA save during the final battle. Play through the battle again and then save the Import file again when asked. That worked for me.

My gallary is missing some images and the Mech cg isnt coming up. some music is locked aswell.

The battles lag out and the game crashes frequently. Also, animated cutscenes are like slideshows.

I can't refund the game, so I might as well see to it that I figure out how to make it playable for me.

yep the FPS is horrible 5 - 15 :S
and im curious to know why theres no combat scene cutins

altho the vanguard cannon cutscene is nice :)

I have no idea what went down at Love in Space, but I get the feeling that most of the budget went into the artwork, commissioning music and voice acting, rather than features in the game and the storyline.

I am not a happy customer, and I actually feel rather betrayed by the state of this game.

this is only half-way thought the sunrider storyline and the next game will show why the cliffhanger is the way it was

next time tho i do hope that the english combat voices are back
not sure of all of them but some of them are same as MoA
i dont know japanese that much
but i think could understand when asaga says moving backwards beep beep beep
