Gryphon Knight 2 ideas (spoiler alert)

I loved the game so much it's got me stirring up ideas on a second game.

Heres what I think would be a neat idea for a sequel: Gameplay that swaps back and forth between the Gryphon Knight and his son.

For example, have Gryphon Knight's gameplay take place in another dimension where he's trying to find his way back to his own. He would have to resort to travelling on foot, making for platform styled levels.

Than have his son's gameplay take place on Aquila where he's trying to find out what happened to his dad. His levels would be the more traditional style Gryphon Knight gameplay.

Somehow the 2 storylines are connected as what the Gryphon Knight does in his dimension affects his son in his, and vice-versa. Each level's sub-level could be the transition point between the two storylines perhaps.

The last curscene gave the feel he didnt mind being there, so I think maybe add some kind of danger to the knights own world.

Hey there guys! Great to see people hoping for GKE2! Man... we plan on doing GKE2 if we can get more people oboard GKE... and I have to say...you are way closer than you think on what we've been planning :D

Oh YES please to more of this. I grew up on games like this. These were my religion, 2D side-scrollers, after school temples to worship at. Would be great to see a sequel to this special game.

Out of interest: Is the sequel still a possibility? I'd buy it.

We still haven't done the sequel... but we just announced GKE Definitive edition :).
