Congrats on the paltinum thropie! We know it's hard work to get it :)
PS: Funny thing... the Sword is my favorite weapon =). Once you get used with the slight delay it's the most damaging weapon in the game.
PS2: You were the first one to ask this...and yes.. the Frogmoth dialog has a hidden message on it. I'd love if you try (and manage) to break it :)
Cheers! and again... THANKS! You made the team's day here!
I haven't yet tried deciphering the Frogmoth dialogue yet, the past week I've been so busy with work and finally getting around to playing The Swapper (played through it 3 separate times lol) that I haven't done anything else as far as gaming goes.
BUT, this week I fully intend to figure out just what the heck it is that that giant freak frog is saying lol. Again too, the first area bosses of each stage are fantastic, I was blown away by just the sheer size of the djinn the first time I saw him and it took me a little while to figure out that I had to hit and deflect his fireballs back at him....crossbuster charge shot ftw!
Also, I'll have to try giving the fully upgraded sword another chance the next time I play through the game. I don't like that it won't go through walls/barriers at all but it seems like a great weapon for certain parts of the game like taking out the elephant riders, that boss always gives me trouble. Also speaking of the elephant boss, I love how one of the knights who helps you out on that stage will run up to the elephant as it's about to charge and stagger it back with his magic lance, the game just has so many neat little things like that in it!
And a really funny story, but I actually unlocked the "That's what squires are for!" trophy during the elephant battle, and I didn't realize until I was looking through my trophies that I actually earned it for getting hit and my shield squire replenished my magic shield barrier enough times to unlock the trophy. I thought when I first unlocked the trophy that it was because of the knight who i just mentioned above knocking the elephant back when it was about to charge forward, what are the odds of the trophy popping up right then just to fool me lol.
It took a few years but I FINALLY solved Frogmoth's hidden messages!
I was organizing my PS4 collection earlier today (i still have my SLG copy) and decided to look at Frogmoth's nonsense again to see if I could figure it out. Funnily enough I figured out how to decipher it right away lol. I'm not sure if i should actually post what is being said but two of the letters are incorrect (for the English translation).
Poor Frogmoth just wanted a snack and was sad that he got yelled at by that mean brute Sir Oliver lol, just to give a general summary of the decoded messages lol.
Also, regarding the Definitive Edition on PS4, I hope you guys at Cyber Rhino Studios and Strictly Limited Games can make another PS4 physical of the game happen! Both the original PS4 version and the Definitive Edition Switch versions sold out super fast. I think a PS4 Definitive Edition version would also sell out super fast. The scalpers on ebay who sell the original PS4 version for $400 would cry about it and it'd be beautiful lol.
Feel free to post it if you want... or not if you don't want either... you are the keeper of the code as far as we are concerned now! You earned it :)
Regarding the Def Edition for PS4... we made it available for SLG, so now it's up to them to release it or not. But, I'd definitevly love to see the game reaching more players! Who know what the future holds... :D
I streamed from my PS4 the cutscene (normally I wouldn't get hit so much but i was super rusty and couldn't remember what buttons did what lol). It was the Ibibib part that I was looking at and a light bulb turned on in my head and made me figure out how to decipher everything. Two of the letters are off but it still makes sense lol.
Also, right before I defeated Frogmoth he hit me with his tongue and swallowed me! I totally forgot that he did that, I just thought his tongue would damage me and that'd be it. I love the amount of detail and humor and everything that you guys put into the game!

Sir Oliver's first phrase after Frogmoth eats the Royal Wizard: "By the King's beard! Give back the royal wizard, you hideous monster!"
Frogmoth: "Monster? Why are you cursing at me? I just had (hae) a little snack! Hahaha!"
Oliver's 2nd phrase: "What? I won't pretend I understand you! Just give back the raven, or else..."
2nd phrase: "Typical of brutes like yourself. No (Lo) talk all fight!"
Oliver: Ok, you asked for it. Prepare for a fight!
