Hi, I'm the author of the game and just saw this thread. I am having the exact same problem and will notify Choice of Games ASAP, and post back here when it is working.

Our apologies! If you quit and restart Steam, it should work. (Fully quitting Steam can sometimes be a bit tricky; if it doesn't work at first, try rebooting. That should definitely take care of it.)

You will not regret buying this game. I have put in 9 hours trying out various scenarios and still enjoy it! There are places where you wish you could change the "set" elements but overall an engaging and thought provoking story.
