I just asked this question over on the Cuban missile Crisis forum. Very odd that a small update came out of no-where.

Edit: They added a stupid launcher with ads

No I'm not kidding you. I did a quick work around to where it just starts with the game.exe instead of the launcher.

Just wrote a long but well-organized negative review. If you read it I hope you feel the same way.

This game got off easy. Cuban missile Crisis and it's expansion ended up breaking from that update.

I just ran CMC and Stalingrad and saw no launcher with ads. Both ran fine for me on Win11.

You haven't obtained the update yet, then. It will add launcher.exe with 66.8 MB to the Games root folder and launch that instead of the game when you try to start Stalingrad via Steam. I'm pretty pissed and disappointed. Steam should have a policy against this.

Yes I can confirm. It pulls a Fulqrum logo then the menu is a giant Men of War 2 buy now ad with Fulqrum update in bottom right corner. The play button for Stalingrad is a small section in the top right corner. So I guess they bought the rights? I dont know just speculating. I was hoping it was game play improvement somehow lol.

Could you please share your workaround?
I wrote a scathing review, please read it if any of you get the chance. We're headed towards monthly 10/10 IGN rated corpo-slop releases.
