I never watched LotR but I'm really into dark fantasy and the game looks great, and since it's very cheap, should I buy it ? Will I understand the game without having watched the movies ?

I fought the first boss and died, and the reason it said I died was because I should of pressed Y to heal. I tried to press Y at every given point in the fight, and you can't press Y at all because you constantly need to be moving. Why would the game give you a hint thats impossible to perform?...

I'm not that interested in buying DLC, thinking about grabbing the standard edition. Would i be missing out on too much?
