Items Disappearing when bought from traders

Hi there.

Started playing the game the other day:
Had no water left, and some traders came by.
Traded some stuff as normal, however the shelter's inventory was full.
When confirming the trade, any items that could fit into existing stacks were placed into them correctly, however any items that wouldn't have a spot in the shelter storage just disappeared. Is this normal, or are they supposed to go into the item bin?

Are the bought items one of the following items?

Music Disc, Book, Toy, Ration, Meat, Water, Desperate Meat, Fuel

Can't quite remember, but I know for sure that two of them were rope and switches

Hmm I know someone reported this and the devs claimed to have this fixed. They probably ended up in the bin then.

i am having this problem I bought 9 wiring from trader then it is not in my storage so the items I traded are gone and the items I bought I didn't received
