I have been playing this game off and on since 1993/4 along with TIE Fighter. I love it except for one thing. If you get shot down and captured, you lose your rank and TOD score. In TIE Fighter you don't. Wish they'd fix that.

Is there any way to play this game using keyboard and Joystick?

Maybe I'm doing tis wrong, but when I go to launch the game, there are only two options: Classic and CD. Everyone else seems to have a third option which I'm assuming is Special Edition. I'm running this on a Mac. Is that the problem? Is Steam advertising something that's not offered? Any help is appreciated, thanks!...

I'm stuck on tour 1 mission 4, and looking at guides says I can give commands to my wingmen during missions. Problem is, I don't know how to set up wingmen or if they're receiving my orders. Any help?

X-Wing and Tie Fighter Special Edition both are choppy and laggy to the point of being unplayable and i would really love to get this resolved. Does anyone know of any fixes or is it just a lost cause?
