I really don't know what to do about this.
Edit: forgot to mention that jumping while not on any proper level geometry will cause me to fall below the map. If I continue falling for a bit, I am booted out of the dungeon after an error message. Nice job at the softlock-prevention.
I have an Intel core i3-3110M @ 2.4 GHz, 4MB RAM, Direct x11, and Windows 8.1. Yet I'm able to run the game without those problems. Only thing different is my graphics card.
That said, I just restarted the game without any controller attached and ensured that "keyboard" was the only input device available. The same glitches still occurred.
I agree. Initially sounded like a processing issue, like your pc couldn't keep up, but I can't see how you would have that problem. I know AMD graphics carrds are causing issues, but it is different than what you're experiencing. And I'm not sure if it's a problem with the game as all my other specs are lower than yours, but I'm not experiencing it.
Since you have an Nvidia card, I would recommend opening Nvidia's 3d manager and configuring the game to be forced to run with your Nvidia card, if you don't know how to do that, I wrote out a detailed explanation below. It may solve your problem or it may not, but it won't hurt to try, I hope it works out for you.
Rightclick on desktop, choose "Nvidia Control Panel", or if it doesn't show up, search "Nvidia" and the control panel app should show up. By default it should be on the "Manage 3d settings" page, if not go there via the navigation pane on the left. Click "Add", then "Browse" and go to where the RB3 exe is (by default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3") and choose the "NeptuniaReBirth3" exe. Then from the second dropdown menu labled #2, choose "High Performance Nvidia Processor". Click the "Apply" button that will have appeared in the lower-righthand corner of the window, wait for it to do its thing, then try launching it again.
The teleportation bug AND the animation errors are all fixed, which is wierd. I have NO CLUE why Vsync would affect that, but this is something that everyone should know.
Will edit the OP to show this.
