Poor level design, janky mechanics, way too much damage output from npcs as opposed to you, and not great enemy design. I feel as though each map is so big and expansive that it takes like 20 minutes to find where I need to go which damages the pacing. Especially the electricity mechanics are so annoying, for example that hallway with the lasers. Each metrocop can kill in only 3-4 shots which is way too much for normal difficulty and the combine "elites" are too accurate from such far distances. Also whats the deal with the random hauntings and headcrabless zombies, it makes zero sense. This mod shines in its atmosphere and aesthetics, the lighting and shading in most areas in the game, well at least the amount of the game I got through, are just gorgeous. And lastly, what on Earth is that goofy, mechanical, flamethrower, robot boss fight. Like what??
