I can't seem to find a good balance when it comes to raiding or being raided. Sometimes I send the bare minimum of men to fight with no magic and they slaughter the enemy. Sometimes I overwhelm them with my numbers, magic and sacrifices and yet I get driven off the field with half my thanes dead. Is this a skill issue or have I offended the Gods?...
