With Different graphics

I've played this game a few times but can't survive past 1.5ish years. I find myself struggling to catch foxes, even though I have several snare traps set up. Are you supposed to bait them with anything in particular? Also, how does one gather enough materials when energy runs out so fast? I find it almost impossible to make rope because gathering enough herbs to craft it takes more energy than I have for the day....

I think I would really enjoy this game more if I knew how to craft to survive. I can chop trees and pick berries and flowers...that's all I've discovered. The "help" isn't much help in the game.

Controller setup crashes on right trigger setup, please fix. cant even play the game now cus it wont get past this menu
