I don't think you can skip it but if I'm remembering right when you get past it it's the only part of the game that's like that, the rest is all the investigations and was pretty good.

I just kept running from cover to cover, waiting for the shot and then run again when he reloads and got past it pretty easy.

Thank you RJX. Appreciate your feedback. Yes I don't think you can skip it either, even playing on the easier of the two modes. Shame because it's pretty bad part of the game - for me at least. I need to watch some videos and see how others do it. That swamp section after it looks pretty dismal - again for me - too. Oh well it is what it is an American friend always used to say.

Did you make it, a video is a good idea, some of the puzzles in it sort of defy logic and it makes them 10x harder, like it's just figuring out what the game wants you to do and then is easy

I've seen 2 or 3 videos but they don't help. Pretty much given up on it now. I'm just pleased I got it cheap on offer but that said, I do hope the devs will eventually allow us to skip the ends and just play it - or make it easier. I'd never have bought the damn thing had I known this was part of it. :(

He's having a hard time with it too that's about how it went for me till I got good at dodging the shots, yeah then the swamp sucked too that whole part is totally different than the rest of the game yeah it sucks lol

Gotta get to cover for the swamp part then you can see the paths where you need to go but yeah exercise in frustration before you get to actually play the game and do some puzzles.

There's this too frogwares gives save files you can download and skip it that way if you want to, just watch the video up to the part where the game starts maybe so not missing anything

Same here. Dropped the game on this useless run. Took a break for a couple of days and then tried again. With renewed vigor, I managed to complete this futile run. Now I think it was worth it. Just relax and run form cover to cover, your progress will be saved on check point. Later in the game, you'll be able to skip these useless quests.

As an option, you can search for someone's saves who unlocked all the chapters and then just pick the needed one.
