Mouse cursor doesn't react to items and unable to continue for that reason
Anybody else have an issue with this game where you aren't able to click on certain items on persons even though you're supposed to interact with them? I got this strange issue where, for example, at Lord Marsh's house it wouldn't recognize his ring on his finger and nothing happened when I kept clicking on it and it only worked after I stopped and restarted the whole game. I have the same issue with the papers on his table where the detective vision shows I'm supposed to look at them, but again clicking on them does nothing. Any way to fix this?

I noticed this too. I cannot select some things and when examining and I have to move the cursor way away from the item(s) to register.

I found the reason. It was because I have a ultra wide screen and the resolution of 2560x1080 caused it. When I changed to 1920x1080, it fixed it and it accurately selected items. The screen is a little stretched though :(

Yeah I figured that was the problem but this is a MAJOR annoyance when I have to save that guy pretending to be holmes in the bar. I've done this fight scene for like 15 minutes straight now because I have no way of knowing wtf I'm clicking.

I need to move my mouse waaay to the side. So it's a toss up on whether I'll get the correct choice to keep moving. Picking up the chair and getting punched, taking a swing at the 2nd guy and missing, or getting shot. Over and over and over lol.

This is brutal, I hope the next installment doesn't have this issue because I just bought it this morning to play after the devil's daughter.
