I played the game before it was released on Steam but stopped because I can never seem to trigger the next event for the mystery. Not sure if I'm running into the same bug here again. I always get stuck after Searching the Database in Dana's Office, waiting for mail at the Reception that never shows up. I've been checking the Reception and there's only the Move To option. Am I missing some hidden requirement for the next flag or something?...
